Escale Détente

Only one star due to an incomplete service although paid at the price displayed and an explanation that is dubious at best. Details below. I offered a hand spa treatment to my partner who has very dry hands. To his surprise he really liked this experience during which he had a scrub, a mango mask and a hand massage. He had the mask on for most of the performance since his nails were exposed. He had received the service as presented by the establishment, and was seated. His hands were well hydrated again. He decides to resume this treatment but with me and we imagine having the same experience while chatting together. I call for the appointment and it is booked without any comment from Escale Détente. When we arrived at Escale Détente we were asked if we had been told that we would not do the treatment together. They say no and quickly a solution is found and it will be upstairs. There, we discover that it is no longer sitting but lying down that we must be. It's not what we had in mind but it works. The treatment went well, the young girl who took care of me was gentle. There is a scrub that smells good, then a cream and then a transparent varnish....and here, I am surprised because I was expecting the mask which is clearly advertised in the description of the treatment, the hand spa treatment. To which I was told that the product that was used for the scrub has a richer formula and that it replaces the mask. But of course. One, who has experience in care, knows well that it is more than improbable, to remain polite, that this is true and that a rich exfoliation replaces a properly applied mask. Second, if for whatever reason there is a substantial change made to a service, the customer must be notified beforehand. And in our case, we would not have wanted to continue because it did not correspond to our interests. But we were given no choice. We therefore paid, at the price clearly displayed with the description of the treatment and left disappointed with this service as well as with the feeling that we were being made a bit of fun with this explanation. My companion's hands were not at all hydrated like the previous time. And if we add the explanation given, we find that it borders on dishonesty.

New relaxation break with Ciji who is truly adorable and exceptional. Her massages are divine, a real feeling of letting go as always. The welcome is always perfect, the places are clean, cozy and comfortable, really nothing to complain about. I have been to almost all the spa institutes in Bordeaux and this is one of the best in my opinion and Ciji's massages are the best! CONGRATULATIONS to the whole team and happy holidays!

Beautiful area. Appointment made for my daughters and me for a cocooning moment. We were able to enjoy a good bubble of oxygen. We were lucky enough to be alone in the spa to enjoy the lounge and cold drinks before going to the cabin. The treatments were perfect (body and face depending on our choices). We will not fail to come back and enjoy this pretty cocoon! Thank you ☺️
